Morning all and welcome to the first Ships blog for October! Bright sunshine here in the harbour today, bit of a contrast to yesterday with the gales and squalls that blew through in the afternoon. Forecast for the weekend a mixed bag with some thundery showers around tomorrow afternoon and some fog early Sunday morning. The weather is definitely turning Autumnal and with this in mind some of you will be thinking about the Winter Layup. As usual space is at a premium so its first come first served! Miriam will be shortly sending out the winter lay up forms to be filled in and returned as soon as possible. However if you want to do it electronically then under the ‘Services’ drop down on the homepage of our website there is a lay up form already available to be filled in and submitted. Today’s pictures are of some recent sunrises over Felixstowe. Finally Ships Blog can advise that he managed to complete his 100 mile ride for charity with pledges of over £1000 made.
