Morning all and welcome to Friday’s Ships Blog. Weather overcast at the moment with some thundery showers in the area. Forecast for the weekend looking good with some wind coming through on Sunday. The long range into the bank holiday weekend is good at the moment with light winds and sunshine, keep your fingers crossed! Today we welcome the Hollowshores Yacht club from Faversham in Kent. Remember for your diaries the 29th of August we have a talk by Stuart Carruthers and Gus Lewis from the RYA covering current issues facing yachtsmen including red diesel and wind farms. The talk is being put on by the Shotley Point Yacht Club but is also open to all berth holders from the marina.
