Afternoon and welcome to a sunny Ships blog. Forecast for the next few days is looking quite good with some sunshine about going into the weekend. Keep an eye on the wind forecast as there may be some about for Friday and possibly Saturday. Seen in the harbour today a square rigged training ship. Diary dates, East Coast Retros are visiting the Shipwreck pub and restaurant tonight so plenty of old classics about! Today we welcome for two nights the ‘Dutch Toursailors Association’ with ten boats locking through this afternoon. They have come a couple of days earlier than originally planned. Over the weekend we also welcome the St Edmundsbury Yachting Association with another seventeen boats. Looks like the holidays have now really kicked off!!
