Ships Blog 16th September 2022

Morning all and welcome to the Ships blog for the coming weekend. Forecast looking good with winds staying North West the whole period, mainly force 4 to 6. There is very little rain in the forecast with perhaps just the odd shower around. However, temperatures are starting to turn a little more Autumnal or cooler than of late. Monday 19th September has been declared a bank holiday for the Queens funeral. The Marina will remain open and operational with a skeleton staff on site for security/health and safety reasons. If you wish to transit the lock then please call the lockmaster in the usual way. Obviously we are expecting things to be quiet! Any questions regarding this please do not hesitate to call the Control Tower on 01473 788982.

Other matters. The laying up season is approaching so if you wish to book an early slot ashore then please use the winter layup form on our website. We will in due course also send out hard copies as well which can be filled in and returned to us. Tides this weekend are Sat HW 16:56 3.58M and Sunday HW 17:46 3.32M. Have a good weekend. The duty lockmasters are Marc on days and Richard Whitby covering the night shift.
