Morning all and a very warm welcome to the Ships blog. Its August and the weather has been absolutely fabulous. Forecast for the weekend is looking good although there will be some wind about on Saturday. However the rest of the bank holiday looks generally settled. We have the Old Gaffers Association calling in on Thursday 25th for one night with approximately 25 to 30 boats. As ever they are a sight to behold! The Shipwreck Bed and Breakfast is now up and running and is called the ‘Shipwreck Loft’. Bookings can be made through their website www.shipwreckloft.co.uk. All berth holders at Shotley and Burnham will be able to book rooms at a 10% discount. Have a good bank holiday weekend!
