Afternoon all and welcome to the pre weekend Ships Blog. Windy at the moment as a cold front approaches from the West. Looking at the current rainfall radar looks like it will be through by mid afternoon. Forecast for the weekend looking a mixed bag. Saturday is fine with some sunshine with the wind in the west force 3 to 4. Early Sunday morning there is some rain which should die out by 10 o’ clock. Tomorrow there is a Classic Car Fun run to the marina in aid of the East Anglian Childrens Hospices. The cars will line up in front of the Shipwreck. Numbers a bit uncertain at the moment but with the good forecast for tomorrow there should be a good turnout! Finally we had a visit by the old lifeboat ‘Lucy Laver’ during the week.
