Welcome to a very warm Ships Blog. It looks like the heat has arrived at last with a good forecast for the next five days. Wall to wall sunshine here in the harbour at Harwich and nice gentle sea breeze filling in from the south. The long range forecasts indicate that the south is going to be staying warm for much of July, bring it on as they say! It was a busy weekend with an Ajax National championships and a visit from the Colne Yacht Club. Plenty of resident berth holders were out over the weekend and the Pinmill Thames Barge match race took place on Saturday morning. The barge EDME looks like again she did a horizon job on the rest of the fleet!
