Great morning here in the harbour with bright sunshine and a very light breeze from the west. Outlook is much the same for tomorrow. The weekend though currently looking a little more unsettled. In the marina today the Pilot Boat St Edmund has had a lift to clear a fouled propeller before fuelling up with diesel. Overnight the entrance channel to the lock has been dredged by the injection dredger ‘Odin’ There may be a few more runs by this dredger to make sure the channel is kept to the required 2M below chart datum. Finally a note for your diary, Good Friday April 18th Shotley Point Yacht Club are holding their annual ‘Grand Boat Jumble’, free admittance and free car parking! (No Trade Stalls please). It will run from 10.00 to 14.00. Good opportunity to grab a bargain or clear some unwanted items from the garage. £5.00 per pitch and all monies raised to go to the RNLI/Help For Heroes.
