Happy New Year to all our berth holders and thank you to all those who have decided to renew their contract and stay with us for another year. Yesterday was very calm with a foggy start and end to the day, ( a bit different today in the Harbour with nearly 40 knots at times). Outlook for next week now strongly suggesting a cold snap developing from about next Wednesday with the first frost of the year occurring as early as tomorrow morning here at the marina. Snow by the end of next week?
A reminder for everyone – lock closure takes place from 25th January to 5th February 2016. The week prior to lock closure may see the removal of one set of floating fenders so that they can be serviced. This will mean that only the Tower side of the lock will be available for use when locking in and out during that week. After the 5th of Feb all the fenders will be back in place and operational.
