Afternoon all. Beautiful day here at Harwich Harbour and the marina. Forecast looking a bit grim for the end of the week. Met Office have posted Severe Weather Warnings for strong winds coming from a deep low that is tracking slowly across the Atlantic. We are monitoring the situation very closely here at the marina. The lads in the yard will be checking all the boats during the week making sure they are all secure. Fortunately it looks like this depression coincides with neap tides so the risk of a tidal surge will be lower. Other news, Pilot Boat St Cuthbert had an emergency lift this morning to carry out repairs on a broken radar mast. Also under forth coming events Shotley Point Yacht Club have advised that they will be holding a Boat Jumble on the Saturday of the Easter Weekend 10am till 2pm
