Morning and welcome to Monday’s Ships Blog. Great weekend weather wise with plenty of sunshine in the end after the threatened thunderstorms and downpours. Today is overcast here at the marina with the wind in the east blowing around 7 to 10 knots and quite humid. Outlook for the week relatively promising with some quite warm temperatures. The berth holders BBQ on Saturday evening was a great success with a big thank you to our Miriam, her husband Keith and friend Pete for all their hard work setting it all up and on the evening as well. Thanks also to Baz our maintenance man for putting the marquee’s up and sorting the benches and tables. The raffle managed to raise approximately £181 for the Air Ambulance so thank you to everyone who bought raffle tickets. In the harbour this morning one of the tugs could be seen practising with its fire hoses.
