MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERA MINOLTA DIGITAL CAMERAGreat morning here in the harbour today. Bright sunshine and clear skies, well a few vapour trails courtesy of departures from Stansted Airport. Winds very light  and will probably stay that way for most of the weekend. A day for the fishermen rather than the sailors. In the yard the guys have been lifting some boats including ‘Eureka’ onto road transport. Hopefully a few of you have made it down to the boat show in London. Reports say that whilst footfall has been low, as in previous years, those attending have been buyers or keenly interested in boats and products. One local sea school has reported strong interest in all their courses both on the water and ashore. Don’t forget we will be holding our own ‘East Coast New Boat Show’ on the weekend of of the 26th and 27th April. Other reminders include that the Ablution Block in the marina is closed for refurbishment at the moment, mainly to re-lay the floor in the showers. Finally that the Shipwreck will also be closed during Lock Closure (3rd to 14th February) for refurbishment after the recent flooding. Have a good weekend folks!
