Ships Blog 17/2/2014

Morning and welcome to a quiet Monday morning. Bit of a contrast after last Friday and Saturday morning when we recorded gusts in excess of 50 knots. The  lockmasters Rob and Richard checked the boats over the weekend and did not report any damage. Andy from the yard with Craig will be going around again today to look more closely for chafe damage etc. Forecast for the week relatively quiet but it looks like there may be another depression coming from the west for next weekend bringing some rain and wind. Early days yet and things may change. Shipwreck remains closed this week whilst the refurbishment is finished. We have a tentative re opening date of this Friday the 21st February. We will keep you updated if anything changes in this respect. Spotted in the harbour this morning – the revenue men’s cutter turning by Trinity 7!
