Maui III, a Westerly Yacht, yesterday left the workshop after having some extensive work carried out. In particular her original ‘Westerly’ fit decking has been removed and replaced with Watson solid Teak decking panels. These are made from digitised patterns made with original measurements taken of the boat. These are then stored on computer and the patterns CNC cut later and form the basis for the final teak panels. Downstairs the headlining through out the boat has also been replaced and finally new perspex has been put into the deck hatches and the coach house has been repainted with non-slip paint.
