Morning, a very chilly start today, -3 here at the marina first thing. Blocking high pressure seems to be theme for our weather at the moment and for the rest of this week, so expect some more frosts to come. Lock closure got underway on Monday with divers in the water at 8 oclock and the stop logs all intsalled by 11.30am. The crew are now currently stripping out and servicing all the hydraulics. We will reopen the lock on Friday 27th January at midday. Todays picture is taken at 6.30 this morning showing blood red/orange vapour trails over Harwich.
